Grading Requirement for 10th Kup

(White Belts doing Yellow Tag Grading)

Sajo Jirugi No. 1 is the first choreographed sequence of offensive and defensive movements taught to Taekwondo students. It develops coordination, direction-changing skills, and breath control. The exercise consists of a combination of low outer-forearm blocks and middle obverse punches performed in walking stance. Sajo Jirugi contains 15 movements and is considered a basic exercise rather than a formal pattern.
